Let's Paint MyMF Pink

At My Mortgage Freedom we place a high importance on providing education, information and support of Women's Financial Literacy and Women in the workforce. In celebration of International Women’s day, this Friday – We’ve decided to Paint MyMF Pink for the first week of March!

By painting it pink we’re celebrate the strength, resilience and magic that each and every woman brings into the world – While also placing a spotlight on the current inequalities that women still face in the workforce and the financial sector in 2024.

Did you know that in Australia, women are still earning 19% less than men on average?

Women are also severely underrepresented in key decision-making roles across almost all industries in the Australian workforce! While they makeup half of the employees (In the 2020-21 WGEA dataset [51%], women comprise only

-         19.4% of CEOS

-         32.5% of key management positions

-         33% of board members

-         18% of board chairs

And still, 30% of Australian men don’t think gender inequality exists.

This March we want to celebrate not only the wonderful women in our office – But to show our continued support for women who achieve their goals despite gender barriers.

International Women’s day is a celebration, of Diversity, Inclusion & Equality.

At MyMF, We understand the need to allow flexible working for our two mums. We also have female leaders who are the driving force of change, and we stand by equality inside and outside of the workplace.

We’re painting MyMF Pink-  because the more we do, the better we become.
